PNP vs. BNF Key Difference
The primary distinction between PNP (Plug-N-Play) and BNF (Bind-N-Fly) models is whether they include:
✓ Pre-installed ELRS Receiver (BNF only)
✓ Pre-installed VTX System (BNF only)
All other components (FC/ESC/motors) are identical in both versions.

1.Modular Installation
The improvements in the V2 version primarily focus on optimizing the installation logic. Specifically, the installation process has been divided into three independent modules: the Power Module, the Video Transmission Module, and the LED Light Strip Protection Ring Module. This modular installation approach allows the assembly work to be carried out step by step. For example, after completing the installation of the upper module, this section can be temporarily set aside, followed by sequentially handling the middle and lower modules. This step-by-step operation helps reduce the likelihood of errors.
During maintenance, only the screws of the corresponding module need to be removed for targeted repairs, thereby enhancing the convenience and efficiency of maintenance.
2.Integrated PCB
The core improvement of this design lies in the addition of an integrated PCB circuit board at the tail, aimed at optimizing the installation and wiring processes. The specific features are as follows:
①The PCB board integrates a 6S capacitor and XT60 connector, which can be fixed to the carbon plate, reducing the number of moving parts on the aircraft. ②It includes a light strip socket for quick installation and removal, working in conjunction with the BEC module to control the light strip's on/off function.
③A reserved slot for a Bluetooth module supports wireless parameter adjustment via an Android smartphone.
④Buzzer.
⑤GPS pads at the tail reduce the need for long flight wires.
⑥USB port for parameter adjustment.
⑦Receiver pins.
All functions are connected to the flight controller through two ribbon cables.
3.Unique VTX Installation
The lens mounting component of the StarRing 35 drone features a unique design, separated from the aluminum head, allowing it to be directly installed on the carbon plate and secured with screws. This design simplifies the installation and removal process, enhancing convenience. The mounting component itself is a 3D-printed part with directional vibration damping functionality, and practical tests have confirmed that its vibration damping performance meets expectations.
The drone is characterized by a flat fuselage, dual-side antenna layout, low center of gravity, and optimized signal coverage. These features collectively provide multiple advantages, including portability, improved control balance, reduced wind resistance, and ensured flight stability.
4.Easy Tuning Operations
Wired Parameter Adjustment: The assembled drone can be connected to a computer or smartphone via a USB-C port, making it convenient to adjust parameters.
Wireless Parameter Adjustment: The drone can be equipped with an optional Bluetooth module, enabling wireless connection to an Android smartphone for wireless parameter adjustment functionality.
5.PNP Quick Install
The design of the StarRing 35 drone allows for convenient replacement of the receiver and GPS module without disassembling the entire aircraft. Users only need to remove the corresponding 3D-printed part to access and replace the receiver. Similarly, thanks to the pad design on the PCB board, the GPS module can also be replaced without full disassembly, significantly simplifying the maintenance process and enhancing the user experience.
6.Light Strip
The duct protection ring of the StarRing 35 features a light slot that can accommodate a 5mm-wide COB light strip. This design allows the light strip to shine inward, illuminating the drone's fuselage and propeller blades. Compared to outward-facing lighting, this approach more clearly showcases the overall structure and details of the frame.
