Some Notes from the Designer
The Carbonfly 80 is a 2S HD system developed in 2025 by the ASTRORC team for the 04 and walksnail 1S V3. It can, of course, also be used with analog systems.

It features an 80 mm wheelbase with 45 mm diameter propellers. Compared to 75 mm frames with 40 mm props, it offers greater propeller efficiency and supports basic freestyle flying. When paired with a 520 mAh battery, it can achieve 5–6 minutes of flight time (with the 04 video system).

Despite the limited space, it still includes a compact link board system with onboard LEDs (coming in future versions) and support for an external buzzer—solving the common problem of locating small drones when lost.

Electronics

The motors are ASTRORC custom 1102 14000KV (unbranded version).
The flight controller is JHEMCU’s latest G474 12A FC, featuring a built-in ELRS receiver. It is lightweight, simple, and stable, and compared to the older version, it offers more additional ports. The receiver can be switched conveniently through software.
Most importantly, this AIO board includes a 9V BEC (voltage regulator) dedicated to powering HD video transmitters, providing a stable operating environment for HD VTX systems.

The analog video transmission version also uses this flight controller, with a separate VTX module for easy upgrades to HD systems in the future.

Receiver
The default configuration uses an onboard ELRS 3.0 receiver. Any built-in or external high-frequency module running ELRS 3.xx can be bound directly.
If you wish to use a DJI controller, you can change the Serial Digital Receiver Port to UART1 in the ground station software and set the receiver mode to SBUS.

PNP vs. BNF Key Difference

The primary distinction between PNP (Plug-N-Play) and BNF (Bind-N-Fly) models is whether they include:
